Any money saving advice for a mother of 6 month old twin girl?

buy in bulkAny money saving advice for a mother of 6 month old twin girl?
Yard-sales, consignment stores, thrift stores, second-hand children shops !!! Also if you know anyone who has older girls, maybe 6 months older. They may want to get rid of the clothes their daughter is no longer able to wear.Any money saving advice for a mother of 6 month old twin girl?
Try cloth diapering. I started cloth diapering my 7 mo old four months ago and I have saved so much money! Fresh diapers are just a wash away and with twins i can imagine that the diaper bill is pretty high

Another suggestion: I have gotten most of my baby's clothes, a high chair and toys from freecycle. Join your local freecycle group and you can probably get lots of stuff for free
dont buy emm all the toys in the world just some hope it helps
If you can stand the mess use reusable diapers. I'm sure you already know to buy most things as cheap as you can get them like at walmart or salvation army if your really strapped. but if you have any old clothes of yours you can make clothes for your babies this especially helps give them play clothes cause you won't worry about those stains they'll gain since it may already have some. Like putting old t-shirts on them as a sort of gown(you'll need to adjust the neck to fit the baby and make sure the bottom can't bunch up to prevent suffocation) close the shirts between the legs(recommend level of knees so theres room for them to comfortably move) with a knot or baby's safety pin. other ways to save money is never buy/rent books, music, movies they tend to be things people are more likely to buy on impulse and use only once in a blue moon your library can provide most of this, and the radio is free. When it comes to buying something else always follow these rules:

1) make sure its important enough you'll need to use it regularly at least once a month (so don't get the fancy cake mold you'll only use once a year on holidays if your ambitous. do get the fire alarm that you have to check sometimes monthly)

2)buy cheap or used on everything you can , but get the best quality available to your budget. (do get that kitchen table reused, but don't get that washer or dryer unless its new. They're a item most people keep till it literatly dies. Ones sold used often cost more to upkeep then they're usefulness is worth and nowadays buying a new one can also save on your energy bills and can come with a warranty for cheaper upkeep)

3)use reusables (a lotta people use plastic wrap and bags but few reuse them or use better options. plastic bags and foil can often be reused if washed and dried unless it previoulsy held meat or cheese. another thing is people use them for something very temporary if you have leftovers from dinner they often are eaten within the following two days. Save the plastic by just putting a plate over the bowl you store it in. plastic wrap or foil should only be used for something that can't be covered with a lid or plate. if you have a contianer or dish to store it in use that instead of a bag)
buy clothes at thrift stores and only buy necasary toys and food. and most of all dont get stressed out and try going to church. i know it sounds weird but it helps. good luck!
Consignment shops, great places to find great clothes, or any thrift store. Sometimes, if you get to know a shop owner, they can call you when other mother's of twin drop off their clothes. Don't feel like you have to own every single toy out there. Just get a few that they can play with. Use coupons!
reuse daipers if they pee
use cloth diapers it will save you money in the long run...
To help cut grocery bills down, clip coupons and if you have family from out of state ask them to send you thiers if they can. I did and I don't think I ever paid full price for dipers for either of my kids. I also saved on formula baby food and wipes and ofcourse my own food. If you don't have out of state family try online friends. We all get diffrent coupns in our Sunday papers.
Cash on hand is always better. If you got spare cash, go ahead and buy those savings plan, lots out there. But if you haven, you don't want to tie up your cash for your child future education when you cannot even get through the early years. The education your child can always go for a study loan in their latter years. I recommend of your savings, 20% savings in cash, 20% for your child savings plan, but since twins, 30% would be good, that already takes up 50% of your income..... Do consider before committing. ';Finanacial Advisor'; are only concerned about their commission.

They will tell you must plan for your childs future, but trust me, raise them with the correct values, and the education part will take care of itself.

Ensuring your personal good health is the best investment you can ever make for your children.

Just my 2cents......
I had twin boys 19 years ago and I went to alot of yard sales and also Walmart.
go to www.1800diapers.com.....they have diapers of all kinds and formula if you use is for cheeper and if you order over so much(i think like 50) you get free shipping
Wouldn't it be twins girlS?
You may not agree with what I am going to say, but it is time to get economy. If you got to the Good Will store and look for clothes and such, you will be surprised of the expensive items you will find for less money and sometimes brand new at that and still cheaper than most retailers and your also helping support them too. It does'nt mean your cheap...your just smart on how to spend money and buy things that's all.

Raising a child today cost about $25,000 a year and with two babies...woah, you got a nice pair of twins to cherrish and good money spent.

You will have to economize on everything from your own personal spending habits as well as fuel efficient . Groceries do not have to be cut down it is all how you buy and what you buy that stretches and creates meals that make you get more for your money. saving you hundred of dollars per year when you seriously think about it not counting coupons.

You also will have to come with ideas for making extra income. Your job is already cut out for you with two beatuiful babies so it won't be hard to manage it financially if you get your priorities on target.

Making great gift ideas work too. You can spend money to make more money on baskets and create your own gift baskets and sale them with all kinds of stuff in them that women love to have. You are entrepreneur and so you have two babies to feed and clothe, so its time to motivate and I am sure that you will be blessed for your efforts in the running as long as you at least try!
Target brand wipes are wonderful!! Also, if you're using formula try using a store brand instead of name brand. I use Target brand for my son (I asked his Dr. first) and it's $12 cheaper per can than the Enfamil he was on. Buy diapers and wipes in bulk if you can, it's cheaper in the long run. Use coupons too!!
buy in bulk....try to get them in commercials or print modeling...they always need cute babies
You might think about making your own baby food, gerber use to have a food grinder and it was priceless, saved me a bundle.
Ebay has a lot of clothes and if you are dressing them the same do a search with twins in the caption...We used the cheaper diapers for during the day and around the house and the better diapers for outings and for at night....I made my own baby food..it really really is an easy thing to do and its not watered down like the store bought version..join a local mothers of twins club...shop around at garage sales for toys, strollers and such...
Clip coupons

Go to the grocery store on double coupon day

Go online once a day and sign up for any free samples you can find

Check the sites like Pampers and Huggies, both have New Parent Clubs

Check Johnson %26amp; Johnson and the formula websites like Similac etc. for baby freebies.

Look in your area for a Multiple Birth group, they usually trade/buy and sell a lot of baby things from strollers and cribs to clothing.
Goodwill stores...You can never have enough clothes for twins.
You can save a ton of money by purchasing clothing, toys and etc at yard sales, thrift shops and etc. Kids grow so fast at that age that they generally grow out of it before it ever shows any use.
