Any advice for a 17 yearold girl moving in the states from italy?

hey. i'll move on august to Oregon for 6 months. i'm from Roma,Italia. i'm so thrilled but frightened at the same time. any advice? thanks everyoneAny advice for a 17 yearold girl moving in the states from italy?
Don't be too opinionated . Ask alot of questions of the people you meet. Speak slowly, as people might have many problems understanding you. The nature is diverse and beautiful there. The level of poverty impressed me there. I disliked the traffic in Portland.


Drive the limit, not over. The drive very slowly and like to ticket out of state drivers. You cannot pump your own gas.Any advice for a 17 yearold girl moving in the states from italy?
You 2 that answered before me are an embarrassment to the USA. She will think we are all rude like you two are. Is that really your best advice? I think not. I wish I could give you some advice, however, I have never moved to another country. I will tell you that Oregon is beautiful. My step brother lives there.

Avoid bars casinos and clubs. Make it productive. Dont take money back with you, we need all we can get.
USA ALL THE WAY!!!! lol so umm idk oregon isn't really a really populated state so you don't have to worry so much about... umm nvm but it just depends what city. but the us is great and such i guess dont worry about it. it will be great
Dont worry and Just try to have fun and make friends. Have fun learning about the us and how it orginated from the US citizens themselves, You can eat McDonalds just not to often. ;)
I wouldn't worry, i live in Oregon it's not a bad place if you live in the right area, its kinda chilly here so i would have warm clothes but summer is here so u might be okay.
Read a book called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer when you're here or people will laugh at you.
BE yourself and don't be afraid to talk to people.
